Permissions
Working Within Your Merchant Account
When you sign in, AcuView connects you to your merchant account. All borrower information, loan records, and analytics you access belong to your organization. Even though AcuView aggregates borrower activity across the entire network of lenders, permissions prevent you from seeing information that does not apply to your merchant. This keeps your borrower data isolated and compliant, while still giving you the intelligence needed to assess risk based on the borrower’s activity elsewhere.
Permissions for User and Settings Management
Only certain lenders have the ability to manage other users or adjust platform settings. If you are assigned an administrative role, AcuView allows you to add new users, update their roles, and remove users who no longer need access.
You may also have access to the Settings screen, where you can enable or disable borrower information fields and set loan amount or payment limits. These permissions help your organization maintain consistent verification practices and configuration standards across all users on your team.
What Happens When Your Permissions Are Insufficient
If you attempt to access a screen or perform an action outside your permission level, AcuView immediately notifies you that you do not have access. The feature may be hidden from your interface, or you may receive a message explaining that the action is restricted. This prevents accidental access to sensitive areas and lets you understand when you may need a role update from your administrator.
How Permissions Apply When Using APIs
If your organization also integrates AcuView through its internal systems, the same permissions apply to API usage. Your authenticated session will carry the same roles and restrictions that you have in the UI. This means that both your manual work in the dashboard and any automated processes connected to AcuView will follow the same access controls.
Reviewing or Testing Your Access
If you are unsure about your permission level, you can check it at any time by signing in and opening the areas relevant to your workflow. This helps your organization confirm that all lenders have the permissions they need and nothing they shouldn’t have.
Moving Forward With the Right Access
Once your permissions are set, you can use AcuView with confidence, knowing that your role reflects your responsibilities within the lending process. Whether you are verifying borrowers, reviewing loan activity, or managing your team’s access, permissions help you work securely and efficiently across the platform.
